General Overview of role Oversee all facility functions regarding training program services including day to day operations, program development, regulatory compliance and staff development.

Overview of responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of programs to ensure appropriateness, effectiveness and variety in trainings/activities to meet the goals outlined in individual participant’s IPPs.

Provide direct supervision/support to facility management, including but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, positive direction and updates to organizational, state and federal guidelines.

Ensure compliance of all supervised areas as it relates to the funding, licensing agents, local, state and federal guidelines.

Develop and oversee annual programmatic budget and monitor program fiscal responsibility through variance reports, census monitoring, quarterly attendance reviews, bad debt management, service authorization monitoring and client ratio analysis.

Ensure high quality programming for all recreational and meaningful day activities, skill training and community outings.

Continue to drive operations to meet vision, mission and strategic plans.

Monitor operational goals and objectives to support the vision, mission and strategic plan.

Planned and executes monthly staff meetings and training.

Monitors & reviews monthly required documentation including SP notes, SP goals, incident reports and any grant obligations.

Partner with other departments within the organization to implement and improve operational policies and procedures.

Implement corrective actions plans to solve organizational or department problems.

Act as a liaison with community service providers, families, and funding sources to advocate for individuals served.

Maintain a professional and personal demeanor with internal and external customers and members of the public which promotes positive good will toward Quest and persons served.

Utilize the Learning Management System to monitor and track employee training requirements, ensuring all mandatory courses are completed in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate records of training activities, generate reports, and provide support to staff in navigating the LMS platform.

Qualifications

18 years of age or older required.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years, verifiable experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities or related experience.

Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience and operational management preferred.

Valid Florida Driver’s License at all times.
