We’re looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the West of Boston. This role is perfect for someone who understands the senior care landscape and thrives on building partnerships, serving families, and creating opportunities to grow our impact in the community.

What You’ll Do As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be the bridge between our services and the families who need them the most. You’ll nurture referral relationships, promote our brand throughout the region, and ensure each new client’s journey begins with trust and care.

Your Key Responsibilities – Relationship Building

Skilled nursing facilities

Hospitals

Senior living communities

Hospice and home health providers

Geriatric care managers

Sales & Growth

Design and implement a strategic plan to meet and exceed growth targets

Analyze local market trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead

Track leads and opportunities using a CRM (HubSpot) to manage and grow your pipeline

Community Representation

Serve as a visible ambassador of Home Matters Caregiving

Travel and attend events, professional conferences, and networking functions to expand our reach and reputation

Collaborative Coordination

Partner closely with the care coordination and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client experiences

Maintain regular contact with new clients to ensure satisfaction and foster lasting relationships

Qualifications

Experienced in sales, business development, or senior care outreach

Skilled in listening, empathizing, and finding the right solutions for families and referral partners

Organized, proactive, and results-driven

Excellent communicator—able to engage confidently and warmly with a wide variety of people

Comfortable managing your time and territory independently

Passionate about helping seniors thrive in the comfort of home

Experience with External relationship-building, sales, marketing, or referral networking

Skilled in public speaking, presentations, and community engagement
