What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Monitor assigned accounts, reviewing aging reports and identifying non‑payments or delayed payments

Contact Sponsors/CROs to follow up on unpaid invoices and ensure timely payments

Investigate and resolve disputes related to sponsors, patients, and customers

Maintain strong business relationships with Sponsors/CROs as the primary contact for payment of receables

Collaborate with various departments to resolve billing questions and issues

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree preferred; experience may be substituted for education

Minimum of 1 year of work experience in reading and comprehending complex documents with financial implications

Clinical research experience highly preferred

Understanding of clinical financial systems and electronic medical records (EMRs)

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Familiarity with research techniques to analyze and evaluate financial data

Knowledge of QuickBooks and ability to interpret complex contractual language

Understanding of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) in a commercial or B2B context
