Recruitment Coordinator – HCM Senior Analyst
Ohio Department of Veterans Services is seeking an outgoing, creative, and proactive Recruitment Coordinator to support the HR team and the Ohio Veterans Homes. This dynamic role involves developing a recruitment plan, attending career fairs, and maintaining relationships with schools and our applicant pool.

Starting hourly pay: $32.35 with first raise at 6 months and regular increases over time

Key Job Responsibilities
Recruit for direct care positions (STNA/CNA, LPN, RN)
Manage ODVS Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, OhioMeansJob, and other hiring platform accounts
Establish and maintain relationships with schools, programs, and businesses that educate, certify, graduate, and/or license CNAs, LPNs, and RNs
Schedule classroom visits with students and attend external job fairs/hiring events at high schools, colleges, career‑technical education centers, nursing schools, etc.
Lead succession‑planning initiatives, assess talent needs, and develop training programs for potential successors
Travel up to 50% as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience in human resources
Or completion of an undergraduate core program in HR, business, or public administration plus 12 months experience in HR
Or 1 year experience as a Human Capital Management Analyst, 64612
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
