Job Overview First Command seeks leaders with entrepreneurial mindsets who desire professional growth.

Your experience matters, and the role focuses on coaching military families to achieve short‑term and long‑term financial goals.

Responsibilities

Serve as personal coach to military families, developing evolving financial plans that meet short‑term and long‑term goals.

Help families manage day‑to‑day finances, build lifetime assets, and protect against the unexpected.

Engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command, with support from the local district team and Home Office.

Partner directly with local military organizations, units, and supporting institutions.

Coach on comprehensive financial planning, including:

Savings/banking

Investments/wealth management

Insurance/risk management

What We Offer

Specialized licensing and comprehensive training designed for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.

Sponsorship for full registration and licensing as a Financial Advisor using our tools and resources.

Preparation and testing for SIE, S6, S63, S65, and state Life & Health licenses.

After licensing, opportunity to join a paid training program with a local district office.

Initial 3‑month hourly wage (minimum wage in the state of employment), transitioning to a salaried position with progressive incentives during the remaining nine‑month paid training period.

Training & Career Path

Upon conclusion of the paid trainee program, possibility to become an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command, allowing control over career trajectory and compensation based on results.

No cap on earning potential – compensation reflects effort, based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.
