Summary This position is responsible for providing analysis, quality, and accuracy of employee data. Researches and corrects human resources related data to ensure data integrity and eliminate errors through downstream processing. Runs queries and performs audits to support risk, audit and data privacy compliance. Completes data changes and data validation activities to support the HR function.
Responsibilities
HR Systems Data – Maintain HR Services Systems data, validate data, perform audits, and correct incomplete or incorrectly formatted data. Provide tracking and reporting updates to users.
Audit and Compliance – Perform data maintenance, validation, and corrections; support the integrity of HR databases to retrieve accurate and timely information.
Measurement & Analysis – Identify business or process problems, apply analytical skills, measure and evaluate improvement initiatives, and report results to decision makers.
Problem Solving & Implementation – Develop recommendations and support testing, data conversion, and regression testing from HR Systems.
Case Management – Respond to and resolve Tier II cases from Employee Services regarding employee data changes; review and approve requested changes to ensure compliance.
Tools, Methodologies & Technologies – Utilize new and existing tools, methodologies, and technologies to solve business problems and enhance operations.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
None required.
Professional Experience Requirements
If a Bachelor's degree: No prior experience required.
If an Associate’s degree: Four (4) years of relevant experience.
If a High School diploma or GED: Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
Ability to interface with internal and external partners, act as liaison when needed.
Strong team facilitation, process improvement, data analysis, and quality assurance skills.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and process orientation.
Proficiency with Excel and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions, interpret data, maintain confidentiality, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
