Key Responsibilities
System Optimization : Enhance and maintain pharmacy informatics systems, technologies, and workflows across all affiliated healthcare facilities.
Safety and Compliance : Drive improvements in medication safety, operational effectiveness, and adherence to regulatory standards through strategic system utilization and continuous process refinement.
Drug Diversion Monitoring : Support the implementation and management of drug diversion tracking programs and monitoring tools.
Medication Use Process Integrity : Ensure the integrity of the medication-use process and the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Patient-Centered Care : Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including medication dispensing and drug information, in alignment with institutional protocols and pharmacy law.

Smart IV pump technology
Barcoding and scanning systems
Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
Medication safety monitoring applications
Drug diversion tracking and reporting platforms
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program [REQUIRED]
ASHP-accredited residency highly preferred [PREFERRED]
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting [REQUIRED]
Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or a related certification preferred [PREFERRED]
Familiarity with pharmacy automation, informatics, or IT applications is desirable
Understanding of EHRs, medication-use systems, and regulatory requirements for controlled substances is an asset
Possession of a current Kansas Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure is highly preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
