Branch and Field Support Engineer

Responsibilities

Travel to bank branches across Minnesota to support end‑users with IT‑related issues.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Perform routine maintenance on network hardware and software.

Install, configure, and maintain EUC devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, monitors, and docking stations.

Install and troubleshoot software on end‑user devices.

Configure and support printers at branches and end points.

Use ServiceNow ticketing tool to track, monitor, and update assigned tickets.

Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) procedures for all EUC hardware and software.

Maintain EUC asset inventory in ServiceNow CMDB.

Support IMACD processes for network devices (routers, switches, access points, video conferencing, phones) including physical changes and configuration.

Patch and configure network devices; apply security patches, IOS upgrades, access lists, and other vulnerability mitigations.

Manage network asset inventory in ServiceNow CMDB.

Assist in vulnerability management and patch deployment.

Travel as required by the role; must be able to work in a remote team environment.

Perform tasks requiring a valid driver’s license and a willingness to operate a vehicle.

Qualifications

Must be located in Madison, WI or willing to relocate; position may require travel within the US.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent educational background.

Three years of progressive experience in EUC and network support for bank branches is considered equal to one year of education.

Hands‑on experience with EUC and network support in a branch environment.

Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing and ServiceNow CMDB.

Proficiency with IMACD processes for network equipment.

Experience in patch management, vulnerability remediation, and network cabling.

Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
