THE OPPORTUNITY:
Working collaboratively with our customers and 60+ artists makes us happy. We strive to continually stay on-trend, creating over 200,000 new designs in the last 5 years and 26,000 design modifications yearly. We're currently looking for an ultra-motivated, organized, leadership-driven individual, looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in our fast-paced creative culture.
As a TEAM LEAD, this position is responsible for leading our College Production Artists to ensure on-time delivery of art to production, as well as the maintenance of standards within each division.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, with OT as needed. This position can be a hybrid position, requiring onsite two days/week at our HQ in Detroit Lakes, MN.
Essential Job Functions | Train + Lead + Execute + Communicate + Collaborate
Perform production artist responsibilities proficiently and maintain standards
Ensure team members are appropriately trained in the areas of job responsibility, safety, and company policy
Work closely with artists to field questions and concerns
Conduct weekly check-ins with the team and report performance/attendance issues to the Art Manager
Attend daily production huddle as assigned and communicate priorities back to the department
Understand and utilize production reports and work orders to organize and manage priorities
Assign and reassign work as necessary to ensure deadlines are met
Work with artists to ensure daily production is met
Collaborate with the Hot Market Lead to set the schedule and expectations for Hot Market season
Work closely with other leads to uphold standards and communicate changes to art staff in a timely manner
Manage design updates when logos change
Work with Quality Control to resolve issues
Communicate inconsistencies in standards to the Art Manager
Manage employee concerns and performance issues
Conduct quarterly performance and yearly increase reviews with employees
Review processes periodically to increase efficiency
Qualifications | Leadership + Graphic Design + Detail + Teamwork + Communication
Exposure to leadership training preferred
2-year or 4-year degree in Graphic Design with Adobe Illustrator proficiency preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word helpful but not required
Must comply with remote requirements
Ability to multi-task
High attention to detail
Independent decision-making skills with reason and good judgment
Ability to work well in a team
Must be reliable, responsible, flexible and take direction well
Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and follow through
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Upload Speed: Your internet connection should have a minimum upload speed of 20 megabits per second (Mbps). This speed allows for smooth sharing of files, participating in virtual meetings, and contribution to our collaborative work environment. We recommend 50 Mbps Upload.
It is important to note that these above requirements are based on the assumption that your internet connection is dedicated primarily to work-related tasks during business hours. We understand that many households have multiple users and may engage in activities such as streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc. However, your work-related activities must receive the necessary bandwidth and remain uninterrupted.
All remote employees are also responsible for the following:
Must have both Cable and DSL for Internet Types
Must supply their own equipment (including but not limited to monitors, cameras, and computer accessories)
