Key Responsibilities
Developing HP Nonstop Tandem systems in a hands‑on technical lead role
Regularly provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and the technical teams
Develop secure and high‑quality production code and review and debug the code written by others
Drive the collection clarification and documentation of business and data flow requirements aligning technical design with stakeholder objectives
Provide strategic and technical direction by staying current with emerging tools industry standards and innovative practices in data engineering
Required Skills
Formal training or certification on HP Nonstop Tandem engineering concepts with 5 years of practical experience
Hands‑on Tandem systems development using tools and languages including TAL, TACL, Tandem COBOL, Tandem C, Enscribe SQL/MX, SQL/MP, Enform, Tandem Pathway, Tandem Messaging System, FUP BATCHCOM tokenization and encryption
Advanced knowledge of application data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging modern software tools, platforms and technologies to create innovative solutions
