Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join our thriving Litigation Practice in either our Lexington or Louisville, Kentucky office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with strong legal writing, analytical, and courtroom skills. Litigation Attorney Responsibilities
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials across general, commercial, and energy litigation matters.
Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Manage case files, deadlines, and document production with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and trial preparation.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
Stay current with relevant laws and legal developments to support case management.
Litigation Attorney Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
Active license to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in general, commercial, or energy litigation.
Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Demonstrated desire and confidence to appear in court and handle litigation matters independently.
