Personal Injury Attorney

Job Description Attorney position is now open in busy Personal Injury Firm.

Requirements:

Significant (3+ years) first chair experience.

Strong knowledge of Supreme and Federal Courts practices and rules; excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities will include:

Evaluate, represent and provide expertise opinion on complex PI cases;

Prepare and litigate complex cases with unlimited exposure in State and Federal Courts;

Represent clients in trials and hearings, including arbitrations, mediations and summary jury trials;

Review and evaluate cases and documents;

Appear for court conferences;

Conduct depositions, obtain discovery, prepare cases for trials/arbitrations/mediations;

Handle cases from inception to conclusion;

Manage a daily case load;

Motion practice (motions, OTSC, petitions);

Devise and execute trial strategies;

Facilitate and promote settlement negotiations;

Interview potential clients;

Communicate with clients.
