Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, drafting, and litigation. Duties
Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
Assist with case management, including organizing files and maintaining case calendars
Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed
Experience
-MUST BE LICENSED IN NEW JERSEY
2 years Personal Injury experience required.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar association
Strong research and analytical skills
Proficiency in legal drafting and writing
Experience with litigation procedures and practices
Familiarity with legal software and databases such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
