We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Specialist to join the Canadian Business Performance Controlling (BPC) team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and effectiveness of core financial processes including cost centre controlling, allocation cycles, SG&A overview, and commission payout control. You will be a key contributor to the operational and strategic financial routines of the organization, interacting closely with the broader BPC Canada team, business areas, and North America teams, such as Global Functions Planning & Reporting, Closing and Financial Reporting, Planning Management, Operational Expense Controlling, and Accounting NAM, among others. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency of cost centre data for Support Functions and Global Functions. Monitor spending trends, coordinate regular reviews with cost centre owners, and support planning and forecasting activities. Design, maintain, and execute cost allocation cycles (e.g., IT, Real Estate, Global Functions) ensuring correct cost distribution and alignment with global and local guidelines. Support and drive the company's SG&A centralization efforts. Ensure proper capture, tracking, and analysis of centralized costs to improve transparency and cost accountability. Oversee and validate the commission calculation and payment processes. Collaborate with Sales Ops and HR to ensure policy adherence, correct data integration, and timely execution. Collaborate with the CAN and NAM BPC teams to support monthly closing, forecast, budget, and long-range planning cycles. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis, supporting the Director of BPC and CFO Canada as required. Act as a close partner to the Risk & Internal Control (RIC) function, especially for finance support, working on internal controls monitoring and ensuring process quality and compliance across finance activities. Build in-depth knowledge of key RIC processes, ensuring continuity of the companies' risk internal control execution at the country level. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA/CMA or MBA considered an asset. 5+ years of experience in financial planning, controlling, or business analysis, preferably in a multinational or matrixed environment. Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; experience with digital and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, or Tableau) will be considered an asset. Demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technologies and digital tools to improve efficiency and drive automation of finance reports. As well as, process optimization, and support data-driven decision-making. Solid understanding of cost centre structures, financial allocations, SG&A, and compensation processes. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
