Account Manager – Personal Lines
Department: Digital Service Center
Job Summary Acrisure is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This role involves sales and service of insurance products while ensuring retention levels are maintained, handling complaints, actioning renewals, and overseeing client relationships. The Account Manager will leverage technology and market insights to enhance service delivery, identify cross‑selling opportunities, and support clients with all their personal lines insurance needs.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day‑to‑day communications and fostering strong, long‑lasting relationships for assigned book of business.
Strategic Recommendations:
Understand client needs and objectives, providing tailored solutions and proactively coordinate renewals.
Policy Maintenance:
Update and change policies in Agency Management System and related software, keeping records timely and accurate.
Engagement Throughout Lifecycle:
Maintain consistent engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
Strategic Engagement & Execution:
Implement data‑driven marketing or awareness campaigns tailored to customers.
Retention & Growth:
Achieve retention and growth targets for assigned customers using proactive engagement tools.
Opportunity Identification:
Contribute to new opportunities for client growth and expansion of services.
Best‑Practice Sharing:
Share client engagement best practices with peers.
Industry Insight:
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
Coordination & Collaboration:
Coordinate with Digital Marketing, Human Resources, Compliance, and third‑party partners; collaborate with the Digital Employee Personal Team Leader.
Cross‑Functional Initiatives:
Support initiatives that enhance the overall digital strategy and client success.
Self‑Service Adoption:
Drive client adoption of self‑service tools and enrollment capabilities.
Value Delivery:
Ensure clients receive exceptional digital service value, promote additional digital services, and drive innovation within client accounts.
Retention & Satisfaction:
Meet or exceed retention and satisfaction metrics through a consultative, technology‑first approach.
Additional Tasks:
Perform other tasks or projects as requested by service team or region leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
Hold applicable insurance licenses.
Minimum of 2 years account management experience; licensed for over 1 year.
Proven experience managing client relationships and achieving retention targets.
Experience remarketing clients across multiple carriers and providing proposals.
Ability to cross‑sell products and broaden client relationships.
Skills
Strong client management and relationship‑building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with EPIC or similar account management software.
Ability to multitask across multiple systems and workflows.
Team collaboration and project management.
Creative problem‑solving and passion for customer service.
Pay Details The base compensation range for this position is $40,000 – $75,000. Placement within the range depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
Candidate should be comfortable with on‑site presence to support collaboration and cross‑functional partnership.
