About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients to identify an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to support daily distribution and inventory activities. This role offers long-term growth potential within a structured and safety-focused environment.
Job Description: The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will provide hands-on oversight of daily warehouse functions, ensuring materials are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with operational and regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in coordinating staff, managing inventory processes, and supporting shipping operations in a fast-paced facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily warehouse activities to support timely and accurate movement of materials
Oversee receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping operations
Lead, train, and support warehouse staff to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals
Coordinate domestic and international shipments using approved carriers and procedures
Track inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories
Address discrepancies, damaged goods, and return material processes
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and space utilization
Maintain operational data and reports using ERP systems and Excel-based tools
Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in inventory or warehouse management within a regulated environment
Background supporting both domestic and international shipping activities
Demonstrated experience supervising or leading warehouse teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience using ERP systems for inventory and materials tracking
Familiarity with aviation, aerospace, or comparable manufacturing components preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
Comfortable navigating warehouse environments with varying temperaturesAbility to kneel, reach, stoop, and work in non-standard positions as needed
Active warehouse setting requiring frequent presence on the floor
Strong awareness of safety practices and hazard prevention
