Position Summary: The Regional Relationship Banker I is responsible for managing the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve their financial wellbeing. The role involves being a trusted advisor to existing and future customers, delivering best‑in‑class service and consultative sales conversations. The banker will engage in outbound business calling, self‑sourcing referrals, customer account opening and account maintenance, while working closely with Marketing, Commercial, Mortgage and Treasury Management to expand referral generation and client relationships. Essential Functions
Customer Service & Transactions
– Service customer needs professionally, promote good customer experiences, maintain rapport, process account opening, maintenance and loan sourcing, execute various customer service transactions, answer customer questions and act as a backup for Treasury Management Officer. Operational Excellence
– Adhere to security and emergency procedures, keep customer information secured, maintain confidentiality, follow bank policies to mitigate risk, assist with branch opening/closing and document retention/destruction. Sales & Referrals
– Expand and deepen bank relationships, engage in sales activities including presentations, networking, and community events, schedule financial reviews, meet or exceed sales referrals, conduct consultative discussions during account opening, participate in meetings, understand retail products, refer client needs to appropriate partners, and own sourced loans from application to closing. Requirements
Other Functions
– Perform assigned duties by senior management, present to large audiences, adhere to all bank regulations including BSA and OFAC. Working Conditions
– Availability for evening and weekend work, 50‑75% travel, short‑notice travel across locations, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Job Qualifications
– Good interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills, exemplary customer service, attention to detail, ability to retain confidential information, professional appearance, phone etiquette, S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS, proven outbound sales success. Education & Work Experience
