About the Role The
Financial Operations Analyst III
is a senior-level position supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, and Contracts, with flexibility to adapt to business needs. This role leads reporting initiatives, mentors team members, and drives cross‑functional projects while ensuring compliance with SOPs. Candidates should
have 5+ years of accounting experience , communication skills, be able to work independently while aligning with team goals, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a growth‑oriented mindset. Responsibilities
Assist with Reporting: Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards.
Financial Controls & Compliance: Review payment requests, assist with vendor setup, and ensure adherence to internal control policies.
Provide Operational Backup: Step in for accounts payable, receivable, and payroll during peak periods or absences.
Maintain SOPs & Checklists: Assist in documenting and updating finance‑related SOPs; develop checklists for all functional areas.
Track Metrics & Performance: Assist in creating metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting for finance operations.
Support Projects & Audits: Help with special projects, prepare audit documentation, and respond to data reporting requests. Assist in implementing and supporting AR automation tools and systems.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work with accounting, HR, and operations to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Position Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
5+ years of progressive finance experience; cash basis accounting experience strongly desired.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems (Expensify, Salesforce, Accounting Seed, Sage Intacct preferred).
Familiarity with workflow/project tracking tools (e.g., AirTable) is a plus.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Work Authorization Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Work Week This position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, during regular business hours. The hours of operation for TSG Support Services are generally 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility within these hours to accommodate what works best for you. This is a full‑time, in‑person role. Required work through the year‑end close annually. You will work in the office, and TSG Support Services will provide parking for you in a nearby parking garage.
Compensation & Benefits $70,000 – $85,000
Health Insurance
coverage provided through Capital Health Plan (CHP), with individual premiums fully covered by the company.
Optional coverage
for Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance.
401(k) Retirement Plan
to help you plan for the future.
Paid Time Off (PTO) : 176 hours annually (22 days).
