This role is part of MnDOT’s Seeds Student Worker Program, a paid, career‑track opportunity for highly motivated college students. The program offers flexible scheduling: up to 40 hours per week during school breaks and reduced hours during the school year to focus on classes. Some positions require in‑person work; others may be eligible for a hybrid schedule.

Salary Range:

$17.84 – $20.89 per hour.

Seeds Student Workers assist offices across the agency, allowing us to hire students majoring in different fields. Currently, we are filling positions for students studying the following areas:

Business Administration/Business Management

Civil Engineering/Traffic Engineering

Finance

Geography/Geographic Information Systems (GIS)/Cartography

Human Resources

Land Surveying

Pre‑law

Public Administration/Policy

Urban Planning/Community Development
