What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Oversee the daily administration of pharmacy benefits for the employer's customers
Collaborate with the Pharmacy Director and other specialists to ensure accurate benefit administration
Monitor and analyze the performance of pharmacy benefits, addressing any identified issues
Communicate effectively with relevant departments regarding benefit performanceProvide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
Five years of experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of electronic pharmacy claims processing
Demonstrated proficiency in customer service skills
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required or must attain certification within 6 months of hire
Must not have been excluded from participation in any federally funded programs, including Medicare and Medicaid
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in business administration
One year of experience in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or insurance industry
