Lead Clinical Social Worker LCSW within our Care Management Team at Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital in Torrance, CA. This is a full‑time position that will work 8‑hour Day shifts.
Under general supervision, the Lead Licensed Clinical Social Worker performs all duties of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker, including but not limited to providing psychosocial assessments, counseling, information, and referral to inpatients and outpatients and their families, while working collaboratively with medical and paramedical staff.
Ideal Candidate
Must have a Master's Degree in Social Work
Must have a California Clinical Social Worker License
Minimum 2 years experience working as a Social Worker in an acute care/hospital setting
Minimum 2 years experience working as a LCSW in Care Management of a hospital
Minimum 2 years experience working with the Medicare patient population related to Discharge Planning
Minimum 2 years experience working directly as a Hospital Social Worker or Hospital Discharge Planner
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work
Upon hire: California Clinical Social Worker License or California Marriage and Family Therapist License
5 years of experience as a Master of Social Work
4 years of experience in a health care setting
Preferred Qualifications
4 years Supervisory/management experience in a social agency
