Overview
Arrowhead Transit is hiring a full-time Transit Manager I to manage daily transit operations serving greater St. Louis County and the cities of Ely, Hibbing, and Virginia. This role provides oversight of staff, routes, budgets, and service delivery while ensuring compliance with federal and state transit requirements.
Responsibilities
Hiring and supervising employees
Scheduling drivers and vehicles
Managing county expense budgets
Negotiating revenue contracts
Maintaining route manifests
Completing required reports
Supporting grant activities
Working with community partners to develop transit services
Dispatching and driving duties may be required as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
CDL with passenger endorsement (training/testing provided)
Minimum of four years of supervisory experience
Details This is a full-time Level 3 position, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., based in Gilbert, MN. Probationary wage (6 months): $30.89/hr, with full benefits and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match.
