Cloud Architect / Technical Project Manager Our client, Trigent Solutions, is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect / Technical Project Manager to support a federal government contract focused on public health related data systems and enterprise cloud modernization. The role requires a strong technical foundation in cloud architecture and systems engineering, in addition to proven project management experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture, planning, and delivery of enterprise cloud applications and data platforms.

Design, review and guide implementation of cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.

Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams, government stakeholders, and business users.

Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and implementation roadmaps.

Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies while ensuring technical quality.

Support system modernization, data integration, and cloud migration initiatives.

Ensure compliance with government, healthcare, and data governance standards.

Facilitate technical reviews, status briefings, and stakeholder meetings.

Support Agile or hybrid delivery models, working closely with developers, data engineers, and security teams.

Required Qualifications

Extensive hands‑on experience delivering cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud (architecture and implementation).

Demonstrated experience combining technical leadership with project management responsibilities.

Experience supporting public health, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare data systems.

Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory environments, and data management practices.

Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical communication skills.

Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello).

Ability to pass a federal background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

PMP, CSM, PMI‑ACP, or similar project management certifications.

Experience working with HHS agencies (e.g., FDA, NIH, CMS, HRSA, CDC).

Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Experience supporting AI/ML‑enabled systems or data analytics platforms.
