2026 Summer Law Clerk - Tuscaloosa, Alabama The University of Alabama System is accepting applications for a summer law clerk position based in Tuscaloosa on the campus of The University of Alabama. This is an on-site position that can accommodate a full-time or part‑time work schedule and is available for flexible start and end dates during the summer of 2026.

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent legal research and analysis skills.

Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education/Training/Experience

First‑year law student currently attending an ABA‑accredited law school only.

Strong academic record as an undergraduate and law student, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

Perform timely and effective legal research and writing.

Assist University Counsel on projects or matters as needed.

Summer law clerks receive compensation of $30.00 per hour. This position is not benefits eligible.
