Job Summary and Qualifications We are looking for an Operating Room Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center, dedicated to delivering family‑like care to our patients. Your expertise in either circulating or scrub roles will be invaluable as you ensure safe, effective nursing care throughout the surgical process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing instruments and equipment for surgical procedures, using preference cards, and anticipating the surgeon's needs.
Coordinating and managing the surgical room as the circulator.
Facilitating smooth transitions between surgical cases.
Safely moving patients to stretchers and OR tables.
Managing patient care and medications, including anesthesia assistance.
Reviewing charts for completeness according to documentation protocols pre- and post‑surgery.
Qualifications required:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery context.
Active RN license as required by state regulations.
Current BCLS certification (online certifications not accepted).
ACLS certification as required.
CNOR certification preferred.
