is hiring a full time experienced Dental assistant. Applicants must be friendly, highly-organized, possess excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Candidates must be x-ray certified in FL. We request that all applicants also possess the willingness to learn, be compassionate and comfortable chair side, and have the ability to perform the following tasks :
Knowledgeable on procedures
Familiar with products and materials used
Attention to detail

Taking impressions

Position Overview:
As a
Dental Assistant
you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. The hours for this position will be Mon-Fri 9:00-5:00

Responsibilities
Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
X-Ray certification
Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant
are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
