Job Summary The Operations Coordinator I (OC I) supports a department and coordinates assigned projects and programs. Responsibilities include development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of programs; event planning; managing logistics; coordinating meetings, conferences, and educational activities; developing and disseminating program materials; communicating for projects; collecting, collating, and reporting data; maintaining databases; conducting literature reviews; and maintaining related websites. The OC I also assists in providing administrative support to departmental operations and goal attainment.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree options: • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years advanced secretarial experience (or office management) with medical/educational background preferred; program/project management experience preferred. • Associate’s Degree + 4 years advanced secretarial experience (or 2-3 years office management) with similar preferences. • High School Diploma or GED + 6 years advanced secretarial experience (or 2-3 years office management) with similar preferences.
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (heavy public contact), Exceptional Verbal (public speaking), Writing/Composing: Correspondence, Reports.
Proficiencies:
MS Word, Personal Computer, Typing 30 WPM.
