Position Overview
Role:
Elementary Special Education Teacher
Location:
White Bear Lake, Minnesota
Long-term Leave Coverage
– 6‑8 weeks
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Setting III classroom, grades K‑5
Provide instruction in a welcoming, safe, and meaningful environment for students
Implement IEPs, accommodations, and specialized instruction
Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and school‑based initiatives
Support student growth with evidence‑based practices and interventions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Minnesota
Special Education License
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Compensation & Benefits
Rates:
$45‑60/hour
W-2 employment
Paid sick leave
