Job Summary: LOCATED IN LEXINGTON, 482 BEDFORD STREET. A Physical Therapist II (PT II) is autonomously responsible for examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention and discharge planning for patients with functional impairments. Additional responsibilities include independence across diagnostic groups and supervision of affiliating students.
Job Description Essential Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients: determine appropriateness of referral, review medical history, conduct examination, identify diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care.
Discuss findings and plan of care with patient; implement using therapeutic procedures, equipment, teaching interventions, and collaboration/referral to achieve goals.
Regularly re‑evaluate patient status, review plan of care and adjust as needed based on response to determine goal attainment.
Perform teaching responsibilities: teach patients/families, prepare/present in‑services, deliver educational lectures. Mentor/supervise less experienced therapists, assistants, students, and support personnel.
Demonstrate initiative: pursue opportunities, set professional goals in teaching, quality assurance, performance improvement, research. Learn from experienced clinicians. Foster an environment of idea sharing and feedback.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctoral preferred).
Valid Physical Therapist License and Basic Life Support certification.
1–3 years related work experience.
Basic computer proficiency and navigation of web‑based applications.
Preferred Qualifications
APTA membership.

Physical Nature of the Job Medium work: Exert up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently. Work is physical; employee must stand and move throughout the shift.
Pay Range $42.12 – $58.98 per hour. This is the base hourly wage. Actual compensation may exceed the base rate based on seniority, education, experience, certifications, location, responsibilities, shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, and other lawful factors.
