Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders following physician orders.
Conduct screenings for new and long‑term residents based on specific triggers.
Participate in facility meetings, develop resident programs, and assist in meeting certification standards.
Follow infection control policies and resident rights guidelines.
Manage caseload scheduling, perform staff in‑services, and communicate staffing needs.
Maintain professional conduct and attire at all times.
Qualifications Master’s degree, state licensure, ASHA certification, and preferably SNF experience.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate $50–$60 for 1–16 hours weekly. Benefits include employee assistance program, flexible schedule, and retirement plan.
Work Arrangement In‑person in a skilled nursing facility.
