Position Overview Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities. Restore, maintain and promote optimal physical function, wellness and quality of life. Prevent the onset, symptoms and progression of impairments, functional limitations and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders or injuries. This position reports to the Department Director and requires compliance with all Service Standards, Policies and Procedures of the Great Falls Clinic.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Experience
Prior experience within specific scope of practice preferred.
License & Certifications
Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Montana
BLS Certification, required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of physical therapy.
Knowledge of how to use and maintain physical therapy equipment.
Skill in writing reports, preparing correspondence and maintaining patient records.
Skill in establishing effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
Ability to communicate clearly and to manage a sometimes chaotic work environment related to changing patient needs.
Physical ability to handle lifting of patients and the use of office equipment.
