What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Collect, analyze, and communicate clinical data for chart abstracted measures and regulatory compliance
Identify and communicate data patterns and opportunities for improvement to site teams
Serve as a subject matter expert on data definitions and individual measures
Participate in data verification and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity
Engage in quality improvement activities to promote patient safety
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other clinical area
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data abstraction
Registered Nurse licensure required
Proficiency in EPIC and Microsoft Office, including Excel
Combination of post‑secondary education and experience in lieu of a degree
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
Certification in Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Knowledge of QMR, data abstraction, and EPIC chart review and analysis
