Job Summary Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or Administrator.
Responsibilities
Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
Triage and rooming of patients.
Ensures patient safety.
Performs day‑to‑day clerical tasks and related duties.
Participates in ongoing educational activities.
Completes assigned goals.
Performs registration duties including scheduling, verifying demographics and insurance, and answering patient calls.
Experience
Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
Minimum of one year experience.
Education
Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format; skill to write legibly and record information accurately.
Training
Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
Special Skills
Computer literacy.
Maintain Certification.
Licensure
Certified by the following organizations: NCCT, NAHP, NHA, AMT, AAMA, or AAH (or obtain within 6 months of hire date).
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
