Technician

at

CFAB Global , you will assist with the assembly, installation, and service of industrial systems, including automated lubrication systems, food processing and packaging equipment, grain reclamation systems, and custom-fabricated solutions. This is an

entry-level, hands-on position

for mechanically inclined individuals who want to build a career working with real-world industrial equipment.

You will work in both

shop and field environments , assembling system components, installing equipment at customer sites, and supporting system startup and commissioning alongside experienced technicians, fabricators, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities System Assembly (Shop & Field)

Assemble automated lubrication systems, including pumps, manifolds, tubing, fittings, and control components.

Assist with pre-assembly of food processing and packaging systems prior to shipment or installation.

Assemble components for grain reclamation systems, conveyors, and mechanical assemblies.

Build and assemble custom-fabricated systems and sub-assemblies following drawings and work instructions.

Perform basic quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications.

Installation & Field Work

Install assembled systems at customer facilities.

Mount equipment, run tubing, piping, hoses, and cabling, and secure components.

Support system startup, testing, and commissioning.

Mechanical Support & Troubleshooting

Assist with basic mechanical and system troubleshooting.

Identify assembly or installation issues and report them to senior technicians.

Support repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance.

Safety, Quality & Professionalism

Follow all shop and job-site safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out where required.

Maintain organized work areas and proper tool usage.

Represent CFAB Global professionally at all customer sites.

Work closely with technicians, fabricators, engineers, and project managers.

Communicate progress, issues, and completion status clearly.

Learn best practices for industrial system assembly, installation, and service.

Requirements Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Trade school, mechanical training, or fabrication experience is a plus but not required.

Prior experience with mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, or shop work is beneficial.

Technical & Mechanical Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.

Ability to follow assembly drawings, schematics, and written instructions.

Willingness to learn industrial systems, lubrication systems, and custom equipment.

Soft Skills

Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.

Willingness to learn and take direction.

Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical & Travel Requirements

Ability to lift and carry components (up to 50 lbs as needed).

Comfortable working in fabrication shops, industrial plants, and customer facilities.

Willingness to travel for installations and service work.

Valid driver’s license required.

Personal proof of vehicle insurance required.
