As a Field Service Technician III you will perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products, and for updating and tracking the status of all field‑related equipment. Additionally, you will build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, and a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high‑performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end‑to‑end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training, and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and consistently exceeds expectations—often delivering on time and on (or under) budget.
Must-haves
High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications
Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred
Associate's degree in a related field of study
Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA, and/or A+
Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope, and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military
