As a Field Service Technician III, you will use your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You’ll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field‑related equipment. You’ll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.

Qualifications You Must Have

High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience

A higher‑level degree may substitute for experience

Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications

Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques

Provide technical support for computer systems and networks

Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices

Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time

An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Current/valid passport and ability to obtain a visa to travel internationally

Successfully pass a pre‑deployment medical assessment

Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations

Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location

Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required

60‑hour work week

Qualifications We Prefer

Associate’s degree in a related field of study

Experience with FCC or FCC GROL

Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+

Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope and/or pilot static equipment gauges

Background in the aerospace and defense industry, the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. military
