Duties The Physical Therapist works with the building teams and the Committee on Special Education to provide evaluations with students with developmental, sensory, and motor needs. The PT provides a range of therapy and interventions to support students with disabilities, and provides consultation to building teams. The PT helps to prepare IEPs and attends CSE meetings, and collaborates between parents, physicians, related service providers and outside agencies.

Salary Highly competitive based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.

Qualifications Must currently hold the Civil Service title of Physical Therapist OR be reachable for appointment from the current Civil Service Physical Therapist list of eligibles. The successful candidate must possess a New York State License as a Physical Therapist; also, currently registered by the New York State Education Department OR possess a limited permit to practice issued by NYSED. Experience as a physical therapist is required, preferably in a school or pediatric setting. Initiative, communication skills and strong knowledge of special education and academic support are required.

Effective August 26, 2025

Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 19-21 is required.
