Physical Therapist Recruiter Hybrid or Remote (Must reside in WA, OR, ID, MT, or NV)

Up to 15% Travel (Domestic)

About the Role We're hiring an experienced full‑cycle recruiter to support hiring for Physical Therapists and other clinic‑based roles across our growing organization. This role is heavily focused on proactive sourcing, pipeline building, and relationship management in a competitive healthcare market.

This is not an entry‑level recruiting role. We are looking for someone who has already worked as a full‑time recruiter.

Our organization has been around for over 70 years, but our recruiting function is in a period of transformation. You'll play a meaningful role in helping modernize how we attract, engage, and hire talent while still delivering results day to day.

What you’ll need to bring to the table

Has a working awareness of inclusive recruiting practices and shows curiosity and initiative in learning how to reduce bias and support equitable candidate experiences.

At least 2 years of full‑time recruiting experience recruiting licensed medical roles (e.g., Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Physicians, or similar)

Experience recruiting in competitive or talent‑scarce markets

At least 1 year of hands‑on sourcing experience, including: Proactively sourcing passive candidates, using multiple sourcing channels and tools (not just inbound applicants), building and maintaining long‑term candidate pipelines

Demonstrated experience managing and nurturing a pipeline over time (including follow‑up, relationship‑building, and re‑engagement)

Experience working as a member of a recruiting team

At least 2 years of experience using an ATS in a recruiting capacity (posting jobs, managing candidates, tracking activity)

Experience posting and managing jobs on platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and other job boards

Familiarity with CRM tools or candidate relationship management practices

Basic knowledge of compliance and legal considerations related to hiring and candidate data

Commitment to continuous learning (new sourcing strategies, recruiting technology, best practices, etc.)

Residing in WA, OR, ID, MT, or NV

Physical Requirements

Ability to work a desk‑based role with extended screen time

Ability to travel by air and car for recruiting events and career fairs

Essential functions of this role include verbal communication with candidates and leaders via phone and video, written communication via email and text, and sustained use of digital systems and platforms, with or without reasonable accommodation.

You’ll really stand out if you also have

1+ year of experience recruiting Physical Therapists

Experience recruiting for multi‑site, or decentralized organizations

Experience supporting or contributing to recruiting process improvements or modernization efforts

Some familiarity with data tracking, recruiting metrics, and pipeline analytics

Key Responsibilities Sourcing & Pipeline Development (Major Focus)

Proactively source Physical Therapists using a wide range of methods, including: Cold outreach (calls, texts, emails, LinkedIn, etc.), obtaining referrals and relationship‑based sourcing, event‑based and community sourcing

Build, manage, and nurture long‑term candidate pipelines, recognizing that PT recruiting is often a long game

Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow‑up with candidates over time

Recruiting & Hiring Support

Manage requisitions for primarily clinic‑based roles

Conduct recruiter interviews to assess skills, motivations, and fit

Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand needs and provide market insight

Manage the offer process end‑to‑end, including coordination, negotiations, and communication

Post, manage, and maintain job postings across multiple platforms

Relationship Building & Representation

Build strong relationships with clinic leaders, internal partners, and other members of the Talent team

Act as an ambassador of the organization at career fairs, networking events, and recruiting‑related events

Travel up to 15% for recruiting events (some air travel, some driving; most events require overnight stays)

Process Improvement & Change Support

Operate effectively in a decentralized environment where processes are evolving

Contribute to recruiting projects focused on modernization, standardization, and improved candidate experience

Adapt to interim processes and tools while longer‑term solutions are being developed

Identify gaps, propose solutions, and support continuous improvement efforts

The compensation for this role is $75,000 base + performance based bonuses.
