RN Pre-Admissions Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse
Arizona Digestive Institute is hiring a Full‑Time Pre‑Admissions Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse.
The Pre‑Admissions Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating the patient’s condition and ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. The nurse assists physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile techniques. Additionally, the nurse provides comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
Active RN license in the state
BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
2 years experience in PACU or critical care preferred
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
