Institution Registered Nurse (Baker City)
The Oregon Department of Corrections seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate services in correctional facilities.
Responsibilities Conduct patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and laboratory/medical procedures per ODOC policies. Coordinate care by scheduling on‑site and community‑based services.
Serve as a resource for non‑medical staff and advocate for patient needs.
Maintain accurate, legible, and complete patient records.
Assume unit operations in the absence of management and monitor medical supplies.
Qualifications
Valid Oregon Registered Professional Nurse license at the time of appointment.
BSN, MSN, or Lead Worker designation preferred.
Experience in a correctional or high‑stress environment desired.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Commitment to health equity and social justice.
