The
Bilingual Associate Patient Care Coordinator
serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service, assisting with scheduling and registration, and ensuring smooth patient flow in the clinic. Responsibilities include patient registration, insurance verification, collection of co‑insurance and/or co‑payments, and scheduling of diagnostic and follow‑up appointments.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Location:
Onsite – 2960 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135
Primary Responsibilities:
Greets patients and manages wait times
Completes check‑in/out tasks including demographic/insurance verification, pre‑authorizations and document copies
Collects co‑payments, co‑insurance, deductibles and issues receipts
Manages cashier box and daily deposits per company policies
Processes walk‑in patients and visitors
Performs periodic disinfection/cleaning of lobby area
Answers phones and schedules appointments
Answers telephone calls, redirects as appropriate, assists callers and takes messages
Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
Files/scans correspondence, processes medical record release requests, maintains logs
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Intermediate proficiency in communication and customer service, both in person and by phone
Basic knowledge of general office procedures
Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
Bilingual in Spanish/English
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with EMR computer applications
One to two years of related work experience, including data entry
Experience with ICD‑10 and CPT coding
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Pay is based on several factors including labor market, education, experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour for full‑time employment. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
