Job Description
Title: Home Health Registered Nurse
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, Agency policies, and industry standards. Utilizing nursing theory and processes, they assess, document, and deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN, PHN preferred)
Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice
Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting or equivalent
Valid driver's license, insured automobile, and good driving record
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental evaluations
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on nursing best practices
Provide skilled nursing interventions to achieve patient care goals
Maintain accurate records and documentation following agency guidelines
Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and healthcare teams
Promote patient safety and infection control practices
Participate in professional development and training
Supervise home care team members as delegated
Skills & Attributes:
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and cultural differences
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
