Heavy construction equipment dealer in the Salem OR area seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanics for shop and field service. We are a small family‑owned non‑union company with a big‑company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California Nevada Arizona Utah and Washington. Service customer equipment in shop or at customers jobsite Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturers published flat rate repair times Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player Skills
Customer service Computer literacy Diesel engines Alignment Mechanic experience Auto body repair Driving Brakes Welding Detailing Data entry Diagnostics Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment. Equipment dealership background ideal. Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted. Welding experience. Hydraulic & electrical experience. Mid‑level diagnostic ability. Ability to do repairs such as welding R & R of major components such as axles engines and transmissions. Engine certifications a plus. Ability to understand instructions written and verbal. Possess a clean and valid Class B drivers license recent K4 printout required. Must be detail oriented. Ability to multi‑task. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Fair Chance & EEO
