Diesel Mechanic – Earn Up To $36.50/hr

Compensation:
Up to $36.50 per hour; earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment. Job Description R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our China Grove, NC Service Center. You will perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet, including preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, forklifts, trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding where applicable.
Responsibilities Maintain fleet equipment with preventive maintenance and repairs. Perform major and minor service tasks on diesel engines, AC, electrical systems, and applicable auxiliary equipment.
Requirements
Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
Capable of handling major repairs.
Experience with AC and electrical systems.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Own tools.
2+ years diesel mechanic experience preferred.
Experience with preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines.
Experience using Cetaris for work orders.
Class A CDL holder.
Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks.
Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.
