JOB SUMMARY Supervises the operation of one or more table games on an assigned shift while placing special emphasis on guest service, enhancing the guest experience, and engaging in service recovery. Perpetuates employee motivation utilizing positive recognition and corrective coaching.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safeguard company assets located in work area.
Enforce rules and regulations of the casino for pit games
Respond to guest disputes arising in pit games
Direct assignment of pit personnel
Maintain proper table inventories through fills and credits
Issue playing cards and dice, and review them for irregularities at the beginning of the shift
Adhere to regulation Title 31
Offer to create a club card for the guests
Promote upcoming events
Safeguard company assets located in your area
Track Low Limit and High Limit players play
Direct assignments for pit personnel in your area
Maintain proper table inventory through fills and credits
Issue playing cards and dice and keep inventory of them
Must learn how to print Markers as well as do a Marker back

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Minimum of 2 years supervisory in pit or dealing
Ability to perform intermediate math
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Excellent organizational skills required
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
Knowledge of Casino games and operations
High School diploma or equivalent
Good working knowledge of computer software to include MS Word, Excel
General Office Experience Preferred
Certificate/License: Nevada Gaming Work Card
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position.
Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded
Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range
Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterityWork area is subject to variable temperatures
May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
