Security Shift Supervisor—Swing Shift

for the All-New

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Depending on where needed, work assigned shifts at the GDW Reno, J Resort, and any other Jacobs properties in the Reno area

Responsible for patrolling assigned area to ensure safety and protection of guests, employees, tenants, and company property

Patrol assigned area and assists guests, employees, and tenants as needed

Examine doors, windows, gates, etc. to ensure that they are secure

Enforce company policies as they pertain to guest and employee conduct on premises

Document infractions and advises management where appropriate

Watch for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, unlocked security doors, etc.

Respond to all emergencies such as fire, injuries, property damage, etc.

During serious emergencies, may be assigned to assist in the evacuation of company property

Escort casino employees during pit drops, slot drops, jackpot verifications, fill verifications, pit fills/credits, etc.

Transport chips, currency/coin, and tokens to the different requesting tables/booths

Accept, log, and store all lost and found articles

Enforce state gaming laws and regulations including (but not necessarily limited to) the identification and removal of underage persons from the casino floor

Respond to requests for medical assistance when required and renders first responder type first aid consistent with company policy and the individual officer’s skill level and medical certification

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

High School Diploma and/or Equivalent Work Experience

Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and AED certifications

Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming registration card

Valid Nevada Driver’s License

Obtain Alcohol Awareness card

Identification that establishes identity

Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
