We hope so.**The Café Attendant will be responsible for delivering a warm and welcoming experience for our hotel guests—whether they’re starting their day with a fresh coffee or grabbing a quick bite before heading out. The ideal candidate brings prior food service experience, a positive attitude, and a passion for excellent customer service.**What you have*** High School diploma or equivalent* Previous experience in food service, coffee shop, or quick-serve environment preferred* Excellent communication and customer service skills* Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and on your feet for extended periods* Able to follow directions and work as part of a team* Flexible schedule availability (including weekends or early mornings, as needed)**What you’ll do*** Work as part of a team with all team members within the property* Report to work on time and in proper uniform/approved attire* Greet guests with a positive attitude and provide fast, friendly service* Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages* Restock and maintain grab-and-go items such as sandwiches, pastries, salads, and snacks* Operate POS system and credit card transactions accurately* Keep the coffee bar and service area clean, organized, and well-stocked* Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures* Assist with inventory, opening/closing duties, and other tasks as assigned* Ability to handle situations, or when situations arise, ability to let manager/supervisor know ahead of time so as not to affect the guest experience* Perform other duties as management requests to service our guests**Physical Demand*** Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)* Ability to bend, reach, and stoop regularly* Ability to lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs. (e.g., boxes, supplies)* Ability to communicate clearly**Mental Demands*** Make sound judgments quickly* Work on multiple tasks* Able to work independently, take direction, and provide direction to others* Manage differing personalities within the property**Benefits*** Full-time Associate Benefits
