Bridge Design Engineer
A respected engineering consultancy firm with a strong track record in transportation and public infrastructure is looking for a Bridge Design Engineer to join its team in either New York City or Trenton, New Jersey. This firm is known for tackling complex, high-impact projects that shape how communities move and connect. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced engineers on transportation design projects that are both technically challenging and deeply meaningful—projects that will stand for decades and serve millions.
Base Pay Range $95,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and analysis of diverse bridge projects.
Prepare engineering calculations and technical documentation.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure quality deliverables.
Assist in project scheduling and budgeting to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred.
PE license is a plus.
3-5 years of relevant experience in bridge design and analysis.
Must have prior experience working on NJDOT projects .
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
