Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Quirk's Commercial Truck Center in Quincy, MA is seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic for our busy Service Department. Quirk has opportunities for inspired and motivated individuals who have the desire and passion to succeed. Compensation will be based on experience, however, we are always willing to train the right candidate!

Job Duties include

Basic maintenance - oil changes, filters, basic hydraulic repairs

Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed

Maintaining equipment we have within the company

Job Requirements

Experience operating Front end loaders

1-year prior experience with heavy equipment servicing - front end loaders, trailers, equipment

Licensed to operate machinery

Experience with Volvo / Case / CAT equipment a plus

Experience with trailers a plus

Establish and maintain relationships with customers

Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results

Experience in managing and organizing work time and work-related activities

Excellent interpersonal skills

A positive attitude

Strong willingness to learn
