Job Description
Accurate & timely response & follow up for verbal prescription orders.
Transfer or refer calls as appropriate to pharmacist(s).
Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, as appropriate.
Provide patients with accurate, timely, and satisfactory solutions to potential & arising complaints & concerns about their prescriptions.
Handle client/patient questions, complaints, requests or inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy & professionalism, with the goal of one-call resolution & patient retention.
Conduct inbound and/or outbound calls to patients, doctors' offices, insurance companies as necessary or required to complete tasks.
Ensure that patient orders are shipped, via communication with outsourced pharmacies for medications, as well as US MED Shipping Department for other supplies/equipment as necessary.
Ensure all required pharmacy documentation & data entry is completed timely, and in accordance with regulatory agency guidelines.
Ensure accurate changes / data entry of patient records in information systems, including service issues. Update patient files for known changes to patient records.
Qualifications
Related pharmaceutical/medical experience &/or training.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to the pharmaceutical/medical environment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Additional Information Hours for this Position:
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, plus Sat 10am-2pm (as needed but must be open to Sat shift)
Advantages of this Opportunity:
Competitive salary $14.00 - $14.50 per hr.
